Brazilian photographer Marcos Alberti decided to do this fun project to combine some of his passions: friends, photography and wine. 3 Glasses Later started as a joke, but ended up as a great way to connect with each other. Alberti photographed his subjects four times: first when they arrived and the rest, after each glass of wine.

“The first picture was taken right away when our guests have just arrived at the studio in order to capture the stress and the fatigue after a full day of work. […] At the end of every glass of wine a snapshot, nothing fancy, a face and a wall, 3 times. People from all walks of life, music, art, fashion, dance, architecture, advertising got together for a couple of nights and by the end of the third glass several smiles emerged and many stories were told.”

Photographer Sophie Gamand, shot Flower Power, a cute photographic series trying to clear the “bad name” of pitbull-type dogs. Unfortunately, because of their bad image, pitbulls have the false reputation of being more dangerous than other dogs, so Gamand decided to photograph them with flower crowns, to associate them with a softer and more feminine imagery. All the models from the series are shelter dogs who were waiting for adoption at the time of the photograph…

Gamand is also the photographer behind the hilarious Wet Dog series.

What’s your irrational fear?

The comic series Deep Dark Fears is a collection of illustrations about people’s anxieties. Animator, and cartoonist Fran Krause brought these fears to life in a book, inspired by his popular web comic and based on real fears submitted by online readers.

The good thing about this comic series is that you will probably find that you’re not the only one with crazy irrational fears, but it may also remind you of fears you forgot you had, while you may discover many more fears to be afraid of. Creepy, eh?
