Beautiful beach paintings by the Australian artist Sally West. She uses extra thick paint to create texture and an almost Impressionistic style.

Known for its eclectic font collections, House Industries has been around the design world for more than 25 years. Apart from the beautiful mid-century style fonts, they have also designed everything from books, home decor, toys, stationery, t-shirts and apparel for women and men. They are now releasing a new book titled The Process is the Inspiration on May 30.
In their words: “With topics ranging from fonts and fashion to ceramics and space technology, this beautifully-useful volume offers a personal perspective on the origin of ideas for creative people in any field. Presented in the honest, authentic, and often irreverent style that you’ve come to expect from House Industries, The Process is the Inspiration is a collection of helpful lessons, stories and case studies that demonstrate how you can transform obsessive curiosity into personally satisfying and successful work … Most importantly, this book shows that there’s no sense in waiting for inspiration because inspiration is already waiting for you.”

This amazing thing is called: Campfire Delight: 6-layer rich malted-chocolate toasted marshmallow cake, taken from the food blog Sweetapolita. Which, in more detail, means: “Six layers of dark, moist chocolate cake sandwiching alternating rich and fluffy frosting: satiny Belgian chocolate malted frosting and creamy toasted-marshmallow vanilla frosting with bits of actual crispy marshmallow in every bite”. I will not even try to make this (long and complicated) recipe, I will just dream I am having a piece instead. To combine with a nice latte…
I did not know that lyric videos were a thing, until my 10 year-old daughter told me about it! The song “Shape Of You” by Ed Sheeran is on her playlist for sometime now, but I had never watched this video before. This is not actually the official video, but the official lyric video for the song, illustrated and directed by Charlotte Audrey. Love the playful animated lettering!

A beautiful screen-printed poster designed by Kostantia Manthou for Syros International Film Festival 2016, printed with love by Tind.
As commented by Bryony Gomez-Palacio, the editor of For Print Only: “Crumpled paper recreated on paper never looked as good as it does in this halftone, split fountain achievement.”
